SEOUL—President Yoon Suk Yeol is scheduled to hold a summit with New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon in Seoul next week, his office announced on Monday. The meeting aims to address key bilateral and regional issues.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Prime Minister Luxon will be on an official visit to South Korea from September 4-5. The discussions between the two leaders will focus on strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing regional and international cooperation. This upcoming meeting follows their recent interaction last month on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Washington, where they joined leaders from Japan and Australia in a joint statement that condemned the growing military cooperation between North Korea and Russia.
