Kuala lumpur: The Blue Malaysia Agenda, as outlined by UMNO president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, is set to be a significant feature in Barisan Nasional's (BN) manifesto for the upcoming 16th General Election (GE16), according to BN secretary-general Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir. This agenda is part of the coalition's strategic approach to maintain Malaysia's peace and stability amidst evolving challenges.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Zambry emphasized that the agenda comprises eight key initiatives designed to ensure the nation's stability and demonstrate their commitment to addressing both current and future challenges. He highlighted the necessity for meticulous planning to sustain Malaysia's peace and prosperity, especially given the unpredictable global environment. Zambry shared these insights while speaking to reporters at the Media Centre during the UMNO General Assembly 2026 at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur.

The previous day, Ahmad Zahid stated that UMNO and BN would leverage the Blue Malaysia Agenda to guide the nation's path towards its centennial independence, should the coalition regain leadership at Putrajaya. The agenda aims to foster a sovereign and unified Malaysia, promote innovation and a high-income economy, create a prosperous and fair society, and establish Malaysia as a country of global respect.
