Manila: Two lucky bettors from Quezon province and Davao de Oro are set to share the PHP6.1-million jackpot from Saturday night's Lotto 6/42 draw.

According to Philippines News Agency, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced that the winners, hailing from Compostela Public Market in Davao de Oro and Barangay Talipan in Pagbilao, Quezon, successfully matched the winning numbers 11-10-05-42-24-39. The winners are required to claim their PHP6,184,178.80 prize at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City within one year, providing their winning ticket and two forms of identification.

The Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law mandates that lotto winnings exceeding PHP10,000 are subject to a 20-percent tax. In addition to the jackpot winners, 42 participants won PHP24,000 each by correctly selecting five out of the six numbers. Furthermore, 1,763 bettors will receive PHP800 for matching four numbers, and 24,678 players will get PHP20 for matching three digits.

The 6/42 Lotto takes place every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to continue supporting the agency's gaming products, which help generate additional funds for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charitable causes.
