Kuala lumpur: Police are looking for two men who escaped during a police check on the car they were in along Jalan Semenyih near the Kajang Prima traffic lights yesterday afternoon. Kajang district police chief ACP Naazron Abdul Yusof said a mobile patrol vehicle (MPV) was patrolling the area and tried to conduct a check on a green Proton Wira at about 3.15 pm.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, both men, the driver and car passenger, drove off towards Kajang when the police tried to obtain identification documents from them. During their escape, the suspects hit a Perodua Ativa as well as a police MPV. The police MPV sustained damage to the right front door, but no civilian or police personnel was injured.

Efforts to identify the men are ongoing, including securing CCTV and dashcam footage, as well as collecting witness statements. The case is being investigated under Section 186 of the Penal Code.
