KOSPI 200 Stocks See Mixed Performance as HyundaiMtr and LG Energy Solution Rise

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 stocks experienced varied movements in Tuesday's trading session on the Korea Stock Exchange. Notable changes included rises in Hyundai Motor and LG Energy Solution, while several other stocks saw declines.

According to Yonhap News Agency, SK hynix closed at 208,000 KRW, marking a decrease of 3,500 KRW. Hyundai Engineering and Construction witnessed an increase, closing at 34,850 KRW, which is 1,500 KRW higher. Samsung Fire and Marine Insurance saw a decline, ending at 372,500 KRW, down by 18,500 KRW.

Other significant movements included HANALL BIOPHARMA, which rose by 1,450 KRW to close at 30,150 KRW, and Kogas, which fell by 900 KRW to 36,200 KRW. CJ closed at 123,300 KRW, down 2,500 KRW, and LX International slightly decreased by 100 KRW, ending at 25,700 KRW.

The stock of ORION Holdings increased by 330 KRW, closing at 16,200 KRW, while SK Bioscience rose by 3,200 KRW to 107,400 KRW. On the downside, KCC dropped by 7,500 KRW to 274,500 KRW, and SeAH Steel Holdings decreased by 16,000 KRW to close at 234,000 KRW.

Hyundai Motor experienced a significant rise, gaining 7,000 KRW to close at 220,000 KRW, and LG Energy Solution also saw an increase, closing at 335,500 KRW, up 4,000 KRW. Meanwhile, notable declines included Taekwang Industrial, which fell by 18,000 KRW to 691,000 KRW, and Nongshim, which decreased by 8,500 KRW to 412,500 KRW.

Overall, the trading session presented a mix of gains and losses across the KOSPI 200 stocks, reflecting a varied market performance.
