Seoul: The KOSPI 200 stocks on the main Korea Stock Exchange witnessed a range of price movements at the close of Wednesday's trading. Key players in the market saw both gains and declines, reflecting the dynamic nature of the trading session.
According to Yonhap News Agency, SK hynix observed an increase, closing at 205,500 KRW, up by 2,500 KRW. Hyundai Engineering and Construction saw a smaller gain, closing at 33,800 KRW with a 250 KRW rise. Samsung Fire and Marine Insurance also recorded an increase, ending at 397,500 KRW, which was 3,000 KRW higher.
HANALL BIOPHARMA's stock closed at 35,100 KRW, up by 850 KRW, while Kogas experienced a rise of 900 KRW, closing at 37,400 KRW. Hanwha's stocks saw a slight increase, closing at 48,650 KRW, an uptick of 50 KRW. CJ's stock price remained unchanged at 127,300 KRW.
ORION Holdings closed at 15,780 KRW, up by 490 KRW. KCC's stock experienced a significant rise, closing at 283,000 KRW with a 4,500 KRW increase. In contrast, SKBP saw a decline, ending at 106,100 KRW, down by 600 KRW. TCC STEEL also fell, closing at 26,600 KRW, a decrease of 350 KRW.
Lotte Chilsung's stock gained 1,800 KRW, closing at 109,200 KRW. AmoreG remained stable at 21,450 KRW. Hyundai Motor closed higher at 204,000 KRW, marking a 3,500 KRW increase. Miwon Commercial saw a gain of 1,000 KRW, closing at 184,400 KRW.
SeAH Steel Holdings experienced a decline, closing at 256,500 KRW, down by 4,000 KRW. Daewoong's stock increased slightly by 100 KRW, closing at 20,150 KRW. Samyang Food saw a decrease, closing at 921,000 KRW, with a 5,000 KRW drop.
