KUALA LUMPUR—Bhc chicken, the leading South Korean chicken franchise by sales, furthered its international expansion by opening its seventh outlet in Malaysia on Monday.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the new store is located at the Elmina Lakeside Mall, near Kuala Lumpur. This addition brings the total number of Bhc chicken’s international locations to 23, including two in Hong Kong, three in Singapore, eight in Thailand, seven in Malaysia, and three in the United States. The company also announced plans to open two more outlets in Thailand and the U.S. by year’s end. Bhc Group, the parent company, manages multiple restaurant brands such as the Bhc chicken, Changgo 43 Korean barbecue, and Outback Steakhouse.
