Seoul: Acting President Han Duck-soo has called for thorough preparations to ensure timely cooperation with U.S. President Donald Trump's administration on key issues, including diplomacy, defense, and economy, the presidential office announced Tuesday. Han emphasized the importance of these preparations while presiding over an emergency National Security Council meeting Monday evening, shortly after his reinstatement following the Constitutional Court's dismissal of his impeachment.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Han urged officials during the meeting to implement necessary national-level policy measures without delay to safeguard national interests and security. He highlighted the importance of active cooperation with the international community to achieve these goals.

Han further directed the National Security Office at the presidential office to lead efforts in maintaining a system that ensures close information sharing and coordination among ministries involved in diplomacy and security. This directive aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the country's foreign and security policies in collaboration with the Trump administration.
