Porac: This municipality inaugurated on Wednesday its newly constructed municipal hall inspired by no less than the US Library of Congress in Washington, DC. The PHP370-million building is situated in a three-hectare property in Barangay Cangatba donated by the family of the late Genaro Dimalanta, who served as Porac vice mayor from 1960 to 1963.

According to Philippines News Agency, Senator Lito Lapid, a native son of Porac, led the inauguration of the municipal building. Porac Mayor Myla Clarete expressed gratitude towards Senator Lapid for his efforts in securing funding for the project. "Ang bayan po ng Porac at ang lokal na pamahalaan ay taos-pusong nagpapasalamat sa ating butihing senador, Sen. Lito Lapid, sa kanyang pagsusumikap na mabigyan ng pondo ang pagpapatayo sa ating bagong munisipyo. Ang kanyang pagmamalasakit sa aming mga Poraque±os ay labis po naming kinikilala at pinapahalagahan," Clarete said.

The construction of the building began in 2021 with funding from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). The transfer of the municipal seat from Barangay Poblacion to the current site at Circumferential Road in Barangay Cangatba was made official through Municipal Ordinance No. 01, Series of 2025.

The newly constructed municipal complex also houses the new Porac Police Station, which was inaugurated on the same day. According to the local government of Porac, additional government offices are anticipated to be established on the three-hectare property in the near future.
