Seoul: The United States has reaffirmed its commitment to collaborating with South Korea under the leadership of Acting President Han Duck-soo. This announcement came from Han's office on Tuesday, marking the first message from Washington following Han's reinstatement.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the message from the White House emphasized the U.S.'s dedication to working with both Acting President and Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, as well as the Republic of Korea (ROK) Government. It expressed confidence in the democratic resilience of both the ROK and its people.

The development follows a ruling by South Korea's Constitutional Court on Monday, which dismissed the impeachment of Han Duck-soo. The decision came 87 days after the National Assembly had voted in favor of the motion, citing Han's alleged involvement in the suspended President Yoon Suk Yeol's December 3 declaration of martial law.
