Manila: Senate President Francis Escudero announced Monday that the impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte, including its annexes, was already uploaded to the Senate website for public access.

According to Philippines News Agency, this move followed after the offices of all 23 senators had received a copy of the complaint. Escudero emphasized that the complaint is a public document and should be accessible to the public. He stated that members of the Senate were given copies of the impeachment complaint last week, and the actual document, along with its annexes, is now available on the Senate website.

Escudero noted that senators have ample time to study the complaint and prepare for the proceedings. He mentioned that they would be given time to read and review it, and a draft of the proposed rules would also be sent for their review. This is to ensure that by June 2, there will be no excuses such as needing more time to read the document.

He added that within two weeks, all senators are expected to receive a draft of the proposed impeachment rules for their review.
