Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a mixed performance during the latest trading session, with several companies experiencing gains while others faced declines. Among the top performers, Hanwha Aerospace led with a significant increase, closing at 673,000, a rise of 46,000 from the previous session.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other notable gainers included Dentium, which rose by 7,900 to reach a closing price of 79,000, and Doosan, which increased by 4,000 to close at 296,500. Korea Aerospace also saw a substantial gain, closing at 79,700, up by 4,700. Hyundai Elev and Samsung SDS both experienced an increase of 1,900, closing at 56,000 and 118,100, respectively.
Meanwhile, several companies saw declines in their stock prices. S-1's stock decreased by 2,800, ending at 61,600, and Coway dropped by 1,700 to close at 79,300. Lotte Shopping and Lotte Wellfood experienced declines of 1,300 and 1,200, respectively, closing at 59,300 and 115,200. KT's stock also fell by 900, finishing at 48,700.
Other companies showed modest movements. KEPCO's stock decreased by 200 to close at 21,450, while SK Telecom dropped by 100, ending at 55,400. On the positive side, KT and G saw a rise of 1,100, closing at 102,200, and Samsung C and T increased by 2,300, finishing at 119,200.
