Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a notable downturn, with numerous companies closing at lower prices. Key players across various sectors saw declines in their stock values, reflecting a challenging day in the market.

According to Yonhap News Agency, DL's stock closed at 29,700, dropping by 2,350. Hankook and Company ended the day at 14,170, down by 560. KIA Corp. also saw a significant decrease, closing at 84,600, a decline of 5,100. SamyangFood's shares fell by 18,000, closing at 782,000. POSCO International's stock ended at 44,000, down by 4,050.

CJ CheilJedang closed at 238,000, experiencing a reduction of 8,000. KAL's shares fell by 900 to close at 20,650. LG Corp. saw a decrease of 1,800, ending the day at 60,800. KG Mobility's stock closed at 3,360, down by 260. POSCO Future M shares dropped by 6,600, closing at 115,100.

Additional declines were seen with LOTTE Fine Chem closing at 32,600, down by 2,500, and Hyundai Steel at 22,350, a decline of 1,800. Shinsegae's shares ended at 152,000, a decrease of 500. CosmoAM and T closed at 35,400, dropping by 3,550. Nongshim saw a reduction of 6,000, closing at 395,000.
