Manila: The French Embassy in Manila has advised travelers to plan accordingly, as the waiting time for a visa application appointment at its Manila visa center is estimated to take at least six weeks.

According to Philippines News Agency, the extended waiting period is attributed to the high demand linked to the upcoming peak tourist season in Europe. In a recent advisory, the embassy stated, "The tourist season has begun. Due to high demand, the current waiting time for an appointment to submit a visa application at TLS Manila is six weeks."

The embassy emphasized the importance of early planning, urging travelers to "anticipate your travel plans and submit your application as early as possible."

The visa application center in Manila, which opened in December 2023, operates with TLS Contact as its service provider. Appointments for visa applications can be scheduled through the TLS Contact's website at https://visas-fr.tlscontact.com/visa/ph.
