DPWH Conducts Weekend Road Works in Metro Manila

Manila: The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is conducting its regular weekend road reblocking works on selected road sections in the cities of Quezon, Malabon, Navotas, Caloocan, and Makati. In an advisory issued Friday, the DPWH-National Capital Region (NCR) said asphalt overlay, rotomilling, construction of box culvert, and rehabilitation of lined canal will require partial closure of selected lanes to avoid disruption of usual traffic flow.

In Quezon City, asphalt overlay will be done from Mitsubishi to Ilang-Ilang Bridge, Fairview Avenue southbound; reblocking from Ana Store to Payatas Multipurpose Hall, Payatas Road; and from Corner Central Avenue to fronting Technohub (U-turn) Commonwealth Ave, inner lane southbound.

In Malabon City, among the works scheduled are the construction of a box culvert from Ponce Street to Santos Street on M.H Del Pilar Street (Valenzuela-bound), while raising of grade will be done from Arkong Bato to Ponce Street.
