Davao City: Davao City police arrested 11 individuals and confiscated illegal drugs worth PHP7.2 million during a series of operations over the weekend. The largest seizure was made by Police Station-Toril (PS-8), which recovered PHP6.93 million worth of illegal drugs.

According to Philippines News Agency, other recoveries included PHP282,540 by PS4-Sasa; PHP17,316 by PS11-Baguio; PHP4,964 by PS2-San Pedro; PHP8,432 by PS10-Calinan; and PHP3,740 by the City Drug Enforcement Unit.

‘With the full support of the community, which consistently provides information on individuals involved in illegal drugs, our teams successfully conducted these operations within 24 hours,’ Davao City Police Office Acting Director Col. Hansel Marantan said in a Facebook post Monday. Marantan thanked the public for their cooperation and urged continued vigilance to help maintain peace and order in the city.
