Secretary-General of OIC Welcomes New Indonesian Permanent Representative

Jeddah: His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, received Ambassador Sugiri Supawan at the General Secretariat headquarters as he presented his credentials as the new Permanent Representative of the Republic of Indonesia to the OIC.

According to Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, the Secretary-General expressed his warm welcome to Ambassador Supawan, congratulating him on his new role and wishing him success in his mission. He commended the strong relationship between the OIC and Indonesia, highlighting Indonesia's ongoing efforts to advance peace, dialogue, and confidence-building on both regional and international platforms.

Ambassador Supawan, in his remarks, reiterated Indonesia's commitment to bolstering cooperation with the OIC and its Member States. He emphasized the importance of enhancing Indonesia's contributions to the activities of the OIC, demonstrating a shared dedication to the organization's objectives.
