As of April 27, 2023, a total of 1,037 journalists have registered to cover the forthcoming 32nd SEA Games and the 12th ASEAN Para Games in Cambodia.
The figure was shared by the Ministry of Information’s General Department of Information and Broadcasting (INB) in charge of media registration.
Among the registered journalists, it pointed out, 1,075 are national journalists and 162 others are foreign journalists from 16 countries.
Cambodia will host the 32nd SEA Games from May 5 to 12 and the 12th ASEAN Para Games from June 3 to 9 under the motto “Sport: Live in Peace”.
A total of 36 sports and a demonstration sport (teqball) have been listed for the 32nd SEA Games and 13 for the 12th ASEAN Para Games.
