India’s Exports Up By 25.41 Percent In Feb

NEW DELHI– India’s overall exports, including merchandise and services, in Feb are estimated to be 57.03 billion U.S. dollars, seeing a growth of 25.41 percent over the same period last year, according to official data released yesterday.

Meanwhile, the overall imports in Feb are estimated to be 69.35 billion dollars, up 35.64 percent year on year, according to the data.

“The enthusiasm with which the export and import community has impressively performed, has not only given a boost to the sector, but has also helped the economy’s growth recovery process,” said A. Sakthivel, president of the Federation of Indian Export Organisations.
