MANILA – Two bettors from Metro Manila are set to share the PHP281,263,080 jackpot from Saturday night's Grand Lotto 6/55 draw. The winning tickets, containing the numbers 31-03-17-47-24-20, were purchased in SM BF Parañaque and at a Metro Retail Stores Group Inc. outlet in Muntinlupa City.
According to Philippines News Agency, aside from the jackpot winners, 59 other bettors each won PHP100,000 for matching five of the six winning numbers. An additional 2,075 players will receive PHP1,500 each for correctly guessing four numbers. Under Republic Act 1169, winners have one year from the draw date to claim their prizes.
The PCSO emphasized that all jackpot prizes must be claimed at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City. Claimants are required to sign the back of their winning tickets and present two valid government-issued identification cards. Lotto prizes exceeding PHP10,000 are subject to a 20 percent tax in accordance with the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law.
The Grand Lotto 6/55 draws are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
