PRETORIA — Filipino overseas voters in southern African countries joined thousands of other Filipinos worldwide as dozens braved the rain on a cold South African autumn weekend to cast their votes at the Embassy on Day 1 of overseas voting (OV) of the 2022 National Elections.
Registered overseas voters in countries under the Embassy’s jurisdiction (South Africa, Botswana, Eswatini (Swaziland), Lesotho, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe) are urged to contact the Embassy at pretoriape.ov2022@gmail.com for assistance on how to obtain their mail packets which contain their ballots and election materials. Accomplished ballots much reach the Embassy by 09 May 2022 at 1 pm SAST (7 pm Manila time).
