Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Economic Community Satvinder Singh met with Lao PDR’s Minister of Finance Santiphab Phomvihane and the Governor of the Bank of the Lao PDR Bounleua Sinxayvoravong on the sidelines of the 10th ASEAN Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting (AFMGM). They discussed Lao PDR’s preparations for the chairmanship of ASEAN in 2024, including priorities, plans, and the ways in which the ASEAN Secretariat could provide its fullest support to Lao PDR.
