Bulacan: Anti-drug operatives arrested two high-value individuals (HVIs) and seized around PHP700 million worth of suspected shabu in Bulacan, the Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) said on Sunday. In a statement, PDEG chief Brig. Gen. Edwin Quilates said the suspects, both Chinese nationals identified as alias Ry, 40, and Loan, 55, were arrested in Barangay Bulihan, Plaridel on Saturday.
According to Philippines News Agency, the anti-drug agents confiscated approximately 103 kilograms of shabu with an estimated standard drug price of PHP700.4 and other non-drug evidence. The suspects were brought to the Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group Special Operations Unit-National Capital Region office for documentation and proper disposition. The confiscated drug evidence will be turned over to the forensic group for laboratory examination.
Quilates advised anti-drug operatives to continue to uphold the highest standards of service, integrity, and excellence. "Your accomplishment inspires the entire police force and reinforces our resolve in the campaign against illegal drugs," he said.
