Seoul: The weather forecast for Thursday across South Korea’s 12 major cities indicates a mix of cloudy and sunny conditions with varying temperatures and chances of rain.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the capital city of Seoul is expected to experience cloudy weather with temperatures ranging from 0°C as the high to -9°C as the low, and a 30% chance of rain. Incheon and Suwon will share similar cloudy conditions, with Incheon seeing a high of -1°C and a low of -9°C, and Suwon experiencing a high of -1°C and a low of -11°C, both with a 30% chance of rain.
Moving southward, Cheongju and Daejeon are predicted to be cloudy as well, with Cheongju having temperatures between 1°C and -8°C, and Daejeon ranging from 2°C to -8°C. Each city has a 30% possibility of rain. Meanwhile, Jeonju will also see cloudy conditions with temperatures peaking at 3°C and dropping to -5°C, with a 30% chance of rain.
In contrast, sunny weather is expected in Chuncheon and Gangneung, with Chuncheon experiencing a chilly high of -1°C and a very cold low of -15°C, while Gangneung will have more moderate temperatures ranging from 4°C to -5°C without any chance of rain. Daegu and Busan will also enjoy sunny weather, with Daegu’s temperatures ranging from 6°C to -5°C and a 20% chance of rain, and Busan seeing a high of 8°C and a low of -2°C with no rain expected.
On the island of Jeju, cloudy skies are anticipated, but temperatures will be milder, ranging from a high of 9°C to a low of 3°C, with no rain forecasted. Gwangju will see a mix of cloudiness with a high of 7°C and a low of -3°C, along with a 20% chance of rain.
