Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn had a meeting with Secretary-General of the ASEAN-Japan Centre (AJC) Kunihiko Hirabayashi in Tokyo today. They exchanged views on ways to enhance trade, investment, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges between ASEAN and Japan. Dr Kao commended the work of AJC over the past years and encouraged AJC to initiate activities and programmes to promote cooperation under the ASEAN-Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, especially in light of the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation.
