Seoul: The KOSPI 200 saw varied performances across its listed companies, with notable movements in both upward and downward directions. Among the gainers, Hyosung Heavy increased by 9,000, closing at 609,000. Hanwha Aerospace also experienced a significant rise, ending the day at 887,000, an increase of 54,000. Meanwhile, S-Oil and SamsungHvyInd recorded upticks of 2,900 and 1,250, respectively.

According to Yonhap News Agency, several companies faced declines. KorZinc experienced the largest drop, decreasing by 33,000 to close at 743,000. Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. and LG Energy Solution also reported significant declines, with decreases of 5,800 and 5,500, respectively. Additionally, SamsungElecMech and Hanchem saw their prices fall by 2,300 and 1,600, respectively.

Some companies remained stable, with KPIC and LS Electric not showing any change in their closing prices. While GS Retail and Hanall Biopharma enjoyed modest increases of 500 and 900, YoulchonChem and Samsung SDS experienced declines, with their prices falling by 200 and 700, respectively. Other notable declines included SamsungF and MIns, which fell by 3,000, and Hanmi Science, which decreased by 600.
