Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) remain largely stable with minor changes observed in specific short-term rates. As released by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information division of Yonhap News Agency, the rates were posted at 11:00 a.m.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the rates for various terms have shown slight variations compared to the previous session. The 1-week and 1-month rates remained unchanged at 3.25% and 3.31%, respectively. The 2-month rate saw a marginal increase from 3.34% to 3.35%. Meanwhile, the 3-month and 6-month rates held steady at 3.41% and 3.42%, respectively. On the other hand, the 12-month rate experienced a slight decrease, moving from 3.24% to 3.23%.
These rates provide insight into the lending dynamics between banks in South Korea and are closely monitored by market participants for indications of liquidity and economic sentiment within the financial sector.
