JAKARTA, Aug 28 (NNN-ANTARA) – The number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 12,618 within one day to 4,056,354, with the death toll adding by 599 to 130,781, the country’s Health Ministry said yesterday.
According to the ministry, 19,290 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of patients recovering from COVID-19 to 3,689,256.
To date, at least 34.12 million people in the country have received two shots of vaccines, while 60.43 million have taken the first doses, the ministry added.
Indonesia is planning to vaccinate 208.2 million people.– NNN-ANTARA
