SEOUL – The KOSPI 200 index recorded diverse shifts as major stocks registered significant changes in their closing prices. LG Innotek’s stock price decreased by 3,000, while LOTTE CHEMICAL Corp saw a rise of 400. HMM experienced an upward movement of 610, and KumhoPetrochem’s stock increased by 1,200.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other notable movements included an increase of 4,600 in SAMSUNG SDS and a 3,500 rise in LOTTE SHOPPING. HANWHA AEROSPACE, however, saw its stock price decrease by 2,100, and KOREA AEROSPACE experienced a drop of 2,900. The list also showed a notable increase for COWAY, which went up by 2,050.
Mixed trends were observed in other key stocks as well, with HyundaiElev and ShinpoongPharm registering increases of 250 and 20, respectively. However, DWS and SamsungEng saw decreases of 200 and 600, respectively. The varying stock price movements in the KOSPI 200 index highlight the dynamic nature of the market, with different sectors and companies showing varied performance.
