Manila: Creamline secured its second Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference title, defeating Akari in straight sets, 25-15, 25-23, 25-17, at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City on Wednesday night. The win marked Creamline's ninth title in the PVL, extending their dominance in the league.

According to Philippines News Agency, Bernadeth Pons led the Cool Smashers with 19 points, including 14 attacks and five blocks. Pons also recorded 12 excellent digs and 13 receptions in the one-hour match. Contributions from Erica Mary Staunton, who added 13 points, and Michele Therese Gumabao with 10 points, helped propel Creamline to victory. Isabel Beatriz De Leon contributed eight points, including three blocks and two aces.

Despite the absence of key players like Tots Carlos and Alyssa Valdez due to injuries, and Jema Galanza who was with the national team, Creamline maintained their strong form. Head coach Sherwin Meneses praised his players' resilience and teamwork, stating that the victory was especially significant given the missing players. "Our bench players are still young, so I'm hopeful that Creamline's success will continue," Meneses added.

Gumabao, who took on a leadership role in the absence of senior players, emphasized the importance of teamwork, saying, "We worked hard for this, training every day to prepare for this moment. As long as we support each other with every point, we're in this together."

Akari’s Oly Okaro led her team with 14 points, while Grethcel Soltones contributed nine. The Chargers were unbeaten until the finals, but Creamline’s dominance proved too strong.

Pons was named the Most Valuable Player of the conference, while Cignal's MJ Perez earned the Best Foreign Guest Player title. Other individual awards went to Best Outside Spikers Brooke Van Sickle (Petro Gazz) and Grethcel Soltones (Akari), and Best Opposite Spiker Trisha Tubu (Akari). The inaugural Rookie of the Conference award went to Shar Ancheta of ZUS Coffee.
