SEOUL – Coway Co., a leading South Korean company, has reported a significant increase in its net income for the third quarter. The company’s net income rose to 137 billion won (US$104.5 million), marking a 20.2 percent increase from the same period last year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company’s operating income for the July-September period also saw an increase, rising 18.3 percent from the previous year to reach 195.3 billion won. This financial success is further underscored by a revenue increase of 3.9 percent, bringing the total to 1 trillion won. These figures were disclosed in a regulatory filing by the company.
