NATIONAL CITY, CA - A team from the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles conducted a two-day consular outreach mission in National City, California from January 28 to 29.

The consular outreach mission was conducted in cooperation with the Philippine Honorary Consulate in San Diego and in coordination with Operation Samahan and Council for Philippine American Organizations (COPAO).

A total of 163 consular and overseas voter registration services were rendered during the two-day outreach mission:

Passport Renewal 96

Civil Registry 4

Legalization of Documents 7

Registration of Voters 25


Consul Rea Oreta, Ms. Aurea Bahjin, Ms. Linda Cadiang, Ms. Camille Baongon-Velasco, Mr. Nelson Maestrado and Mr. Jerry Vicedor made up the Consular Team.

This outreach is the 2nd conducted by the Consulate General for 2017. It is part of the Philippine Government's efforts to bring its various services closer to its constituents. END
