The 2019 “One Commune One Product” (OCOP) international trade fair kicked off here on Wednesday, showcasing agricultural and non-agricultural products, especially handicrafts from 16 countries.
Hundreds of enterprises from such countries as Afghanistan, Australia, Cambodia, China, India, Japan, Kenya, the Netherlands, Russia, Thailand and Vietnam are displaying their products at 700 booths at the four-day fair organized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Goods and services defined in the OCOP program include food, beverages, medicinal herbs, fabric and textiles, souvenirs, furniture, decorations and rural tourism services.
The fair is expected to receive over 1,600 foreign customers from 47 countries and regions, the ministry said on Wednesday.
