PASAY CITY, 14 February 2022 – Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr. will participate in the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting Retreat and Related Meetings on 16- 17 February 2022 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The Foreign Ministers are expected to discuss ASEAN’s priorities for the year under Cambodia’s chairmanship, ASEAN external relations, and other regional and international issues.
Secretary Locsin will speak on Philippine position on key issues such as the South China Sea, the Myanmar political crisis, and the region’s economic recovery from the pandemic.
