The Police have arrested ten women and one man, aged between 21 and 38, in a two-day enforcement operation against massage establishments and public entertainment outlets along Kallang Bahru, Crawford Lane, North Bridge Road, Middle Road and Dalhousie Lane on 16 and 17 October 2018.

During the enforcement operation conducted by Central Police Division, two unlicensed massage establishments were detected. A 38-year-old woman was arrested for offences under the Women's Charter.

During the enforcement checks on public entertainment outlets, two outlets were found to have contravened licensing conditions. Nine women, aged between 21 and 31, were arrested for offences under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act and Immigration Act. A 30-years-old man was also arrested under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act.

Actions will be taken against the operators for flouting the rules and regulations under the Public Entertainment Act and Massage Establishment Act. The Police will continue to take tough enforcement action against criminal activities and those found engaging in such activities will be dealt with in accordance with the law.
