Today, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Economic Community Satvinder Singh attended the 10th ASEAN Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting (AFMGM) in Jakarta, Indonesia. The meeting highlighted the progress in ASEAN finance cooperation, agreed to further strengthen cross-sectoral collaboration, and discussed the ways forward towards the ASEAN Economic Community Post-2025 Vision. Global and regional economic outlook, development challenges, and policies on infrastructure financing and promoting transition finance were also discussed.

The event is the second AFMGM under Indonesia’s Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2023.
