2 keynote speeches were delivered by international keynote speakers on the first day of the Brunei MYCE’s Economy Week Symposium. The event was held at Dewan Musyawarah, International Convention Centre in Berakas.
Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism. The first keynote titled “Implications of the Changing World Order” was presented by Founder, Co-Chief Investment, Officer & Member of the Bridgewater Board, Bridgewater Associates, LP. Meanwhile, His Excellency Dato Paduka Lim Jock hoi, Secretary General of ASEAN also delivered his keynote speech titled “Global and Regional Outlook: Megatrends to Look Out For.”
Meanwhile, 5 panels discussed on ” Reassessing and re-calibrating policy Approaches for GDP” which focused on what policies can be implemented in Brunei Darussalam to accelerate GDP growth
