Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov at a meeting of the Committee for the preparation of reforms in the framework of foreign economic cooperation with partner countries with the participation of a delegation from the UAE outlined the benefits of introducing the Government Accelerators program in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The head of the Cabinet noted that over the past year, a large-scale work was carried out to study the program based on the knowledge and unique experience of the UAE.

‘There was an exchange of experience with our Emirati colleagues. Also, by the decree of the President of Kyrgyzstan, a committee was created to prepare reforms within the framework of foreign economic cooperation with partner countries, which will oversee the work of the Government Accelerators in Kyrgyzstan,’ he said, adding that the work and achievements of the committee will be under special control of the head of state.

Akylbek Zhaparov also outlined the advantages of implementing the methodology in the country:

– accelerating results;

– strengthening interagency cooperation;

– phased implementation of reforms in various areas;

– focusing on current issues;

– search for extraordinary solutions.

In conclusion, the head of the Cabinet thanked his colleagues from the UAE for their assistance in the implementation of the program.

‘I am sure that the launch of 100 reforms in Kyrgyzstan according to your methodology will raise our strategic partnership to a new level and become a new page in the history of our bilateral cooperation,’ he said.

The Government Accelerators program is a methodology according to which government agencies must solve industry problems and achieve their goals within 100 days.
