NEW YORK - The Philippine Consulate General in New York opened its doors for the first Consulate Saturday of 2017 on February 04.
A skeletal consular team provided passport, civil registry, dual citizenship and notarial/authentication services to about 30 applicants who came from as far as Connecticut, and did not have to miss work to avail of consular services.
Consulate Saturdays are part of the Consular Outreach program of the Consulate and are scheduled every quarter - February 04, May 06, August 05, and November 04.
