Ankaras actions reveal its real intentions in Cyprus which certainly do not aim at a just solution of the Cyprus problem, President of the House of Representatives Demetris Syllouris has stressed.

Speaking at the national memorial service of the EOKA heroes (National Organisation of Cypriot Fighters 1955-59) Stylianos Lenas, Demetrakis Christodoulou and Sotiris Tsaggaris, the House President said that the solution of the Cyprus problem is the most crucial issue for our country, but noted that this goal does not unfortunately depend only on the Greek Cypriot side.

"For us, securing our borders, the territorial integrity of the state and ensuring human rights for all Cypriot citizens constitute inalienable rights" he said, adding that Turkey places obstacles in this effort.
