The President of Cyprus succeeded in putting at the negotiating table all aspects of the Cyprus problem, the Secretary to the Council of Ministers, Theodosis Tsiolas, said on Sunday.

Speaking during a memorial service in Deryneia, in the eastern part of Cyprus, Tsiolas added that if Turkey contributes in a positive way, we will soon have a clearer picture of the progress in negotiations.

The official also noted that the priority for the Greek Cypriot side is to reach an agreement that will safeguard the future of all citizens, alleviate their concerns and apply the EU acquis throughout the territory of the Republic of Cyprus.
